{"id":7,"date":"2017-11-16T17:21:37","date_gmt":"2017-11-16T17:21:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/zerodayvigil.faith\/?page_id=7"},"modified":"2017-11-17T14:24:11","modified_gmt":"2017-11-17T19:24:11","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/zerodayvigil.faith\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This vigil is named for Saint Andrew Avellino, a Sicilian saint commonly invoked against sudden death, similar to how Catholics traditionally ask assistance of Saint Anthony to help find lost things.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our term \u201cZero Day\u201d is taken from the information technology field, and refers to an unknown (except to nefarious actors) security vulnerability that has no technical remediation developed or put in place. \u00a0The day the vulnerability becomes known to targeted parties is \u201cday zero\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When we are asked to pray for sick or others in need, often the request is made well after the discovery of the malady has occurred.
